The Fort Lauderdale Beach resort is situated between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean and only 50 yards to the beach. All the rooms overlook either the Intracoastal Waterway or the Atlantic Ocean. There are boutiques, restaurants and nightspots within walking distance. Nearby attractions include Birch State Park, the historic Bonnet House as well as many water sports both at the beach and on the intracoastal. Other attractions that are a short drive from the resort include Las Olas Boulevard, the upscale Galleria Mall and the Sawgrass Mills mall which is one of the largest retail and entertainment centers.
