Hallandale Beach
The area that is now known as Hallandale Beach, named after Luther Halland, was not even settled until the late 1800′s and didn’t officially become a town until 1927. Today the beach is lined with many hi-rise condo buildings. The beach joins Hollywood Beach to its north.
The best public access to Hallandale beach is to take Hallandale Beach Boulevard east until it dead-ends at A-1-A. You will see the colorful Hallandale Beach water tower directly in front of you located on the beach. Continue straight, crossing A-1-A, into a public parking lot. There are restroom facilities and a restaurant located here as well.
